Pictures choice

This Justin Bieber picture was taken from his 2011 tour at the Metro Radio Arena. I was going to choose this picture (even though it does not match my colour scheme) to show diversity within my magazine to not be prejudice towards other music genre’s. This image captures a young teenager with millions of followers worldwide playing above the audience. I thought by placing this image in i could expand my target audience and try and attract a wider audience from more genres of music not just the one I’m currently targeting. The shot perfectly shows symbolism through the power Justin Bieber has among his fans by being above them looking down them. The image is looking up to Justin Bieber this shows wiliness from the fans that they would do anything for this one person that they idolise. In the end i did not use it as it doesn’t match the theme of Rock my magazine is.

Again this image is great. I would have been good to use because of the lighting and colour scheme of this image. It matches my magazine’s colour perfectly. But the reason i did not pick it was because Mcfly have a huge following and support. The purpose of my magazine is to showcase young and up and coming talent. Sticking to my purpose it wouldn’t be right to promote well known bands.

The images of ETL (Enter The Lexicon) I did not use was because I feature on them heavily throughout my magazine a bit too much at times. Also because some of the images did not suit the look, the colour schemes didn’t match and it just wasn’t working. I didn’t want to lose valuable marks by placing images that didn’t look presentable with my magazine
