colour pallet

This is my colour pallet, a varity of colours but most of them may not get used as much as the others. However, the first row shows the overall coulour theme to my magazin. Black and white will always be shown throughout the magazine as I am using those colours for the text. Most importantly black will capture the background to most of my images therefore having black is essential to my target audience as well as capturing rock music as a genre. the reason grey is linkied closely with black and white is simply for the colour, as it would act as a inbetween from white to black so it is not such a dramtic change and looks more gradual and that would make it professional.

The second layer of my colour pallet is a mixture of bright colours that are seen in many images I will be using. Therefore it is important to notice them and link them with one another so it is a nice blend rather than one bright mess. Also, the genre Rock could do with a bit of colour as well as my magazine as it is very dark. I think colour will look good and not make the magazine labelled as depressing because black is stereotypically labelled as depressive.

The bottom layer is simply to use to highlight main images, main text. Basically, what I want the audience to notice and take it as key information to remember from the magazine this could be competitons or certain bands, to go away and keep in their mind.
